Casel is a product of Offstage Labs, an unregistered sole proprietorship based in India.

The terms for using Casel, a product of Offstage Labs: what the plans and the $2.99 one-time build include, how payment works, what happens to what you write and what we generate, and the limits of both.

Who you are contracting with

Casel is a product of Offstage Labs, an unregistered sole proprietorship based in India. Casel is the product; Offstage Labs is the business that operates it and the party you contract with under these terms. Where these terms say "we" or "us", they mean Offstage Labs.

Payments are a separate matter and are handled by Paddle as merchant of record — see "Payments, and who charges you" below. Reach us at offstagelabs@gmail.com.

The agreement

These terms apply when you use Casel, subscribe to a plan, or buy a one-time website build. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.

You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live, and the details on your account must be accurate. What happens under your account is your responsibility, including keeping access to it secure.

What you are buying

Plans — Starter and Premium — are the main way to buy Casel. They are recurring subscriptions, billed monthly or annually, that carry a monthly credit allowance and the capabilities listed on the pricing page for that plan at the time you subscribe. A credit is spent when a build runs.

A one-time website build is also available at $2.99, charged once and not renewing. It covers the design interview and one complete generated website, published on a getcasel.com address and carrying a small Casel badge. It starts no subscription of any kind.

Prices are shown in US dollars before local taxes, which Paddle adds at checkout where they apply — so the amount charged can be higher than the amount displayed, and the checkout shows the final figure before you confirm. What a plan includes is what the pricing page says it includes; nothing is promised here that is not shown there.

Delivery

Delivery is immediate and digital. Payment starts the build, generation typically completes within minutes, and the result appears in your account — there is nothing to ship and no delivery address to give.

If a build fails, the run can be retried from the same brief. A payment that produced no build at all is not a sale we keep; see the refund policy.

Payments, and who charges you

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service enquiries and handles returns.

So the charge on your statement carries Paddle's name rather than ours, the receipt and invoice come from Paddle, and Paddle collects and remits any sales tax, VAT or GST. By buying, you authorise that charge to the payment method you chose.

Recurring plans renew at the interval shown until you cancel. Cancel any time before the next renewal: cancellation stops future charges and takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for.

Refunds

Plans carry a fourteen-day money-back guarantee from the first payment, and can be cancelled at any time. The $2.99 one-time build is a final sale once your site has been generated, because it is delivered immediately and the cost of generating it is incurred at that moment. Statutory consumer rights are unaffected by either.

The refund policy sets out both in full, including what happens when a payment goes through and no site does.

Your content, and what is generated

What you write stays yours. You give Casel only the permission needed to process it, generate from it, store it, and show it back to you — and you confirm you have the right to use whatever you submit, including any logo, text or image you attach.

What is generated is yours to use, publish and edit, subject to your plan and to these terms. Generated output can be wrong, generic or unintentionally similar to something else: check facts, check names, check that you have the rights to what you publish. A generated site is a draft with your name on it, not advice.

We may keep serving a site we generated at its getcasel.com address, and we may show anonymised examples of what the product produces unless you ask us not to.

Acceptable use

Do not use Casel to break the law, infringe anyone's rights, impersonate a person or business, deceive people about who they are dealing with, sell what you may not sell, publish sexual content involving minors, distribute malware, run phishing, evade security or payment controls, scrape the service, or overload it.

We may pause a build, restrict a feature, or close an account that creates legal, security, payment or abuse risk. Where notice is practical, we give it.

Availability and change

Casel is a young product and it changes. Features arrive, move and occasionally leave; the service can be interrupted for maintenance or by a provider outage. We do not promise a specific uptime.

Hosting, publishing, custom domains, export and commerce features are included only where the plan you bought lists them.

Disclaimers and liability

Casel is provided as-is and as-available to the fullest extent the law allows. We do not warrant that generated output is accurate, original, or fit for a particular purpose.

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid Casel in the twelve months before it. We are not liable for lost profits, lost data, or business interruption. Nothing here removes a liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, and nothing here removes your mandatory consumer rights.

Ending it, and the governing law

You can stop using Casel whenever you like, and ask us to delete the account. We may end access for serious or repeated breaches of these terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of India, where Offstage Labs operates, and the courts there have jurisdiction over any dispute. That does not take away the mandatory consumer protections of the country you live in, which continue to apply regardless — including the statutory rights of buyers in the EU and the UK. We would rather settle a dispute by email than by anything more expensive.

Write to offstagelabs@gmail.com. Include the email address on the account and, for anything to do with a payment, the Paddle receipt or transaction reference — it is the only identifier that ties a charge to a build. We answer within five working days.
